How to create ....

Because it is so easy to create cut outs, shape them, colour or tone them and blend them in thanks to the easy transparency features,
Picture It makes it easy to create little works of art.

This is one of the Christmas Cards I created and I will explain briefly how I came to this result.

First a couple of pictures were taken, of objects that relate to the holidays, winter and christmas.
Then these were changed into (transparent) cut outs with Picture It.
Here some examples:

And a lot more of these.
As you can see, the little girl was holding a doll, but replaced by a little teddy bear.

After that,
some coloured backgrounds were positioned over one another, transforming them in one step to the transparency that looked nice enough. Like these 2:

Then all cutouts were positioned on this background, changing their tone, transparency, edges en brightness untill the mix seemed about right.
Wich brought up this result:

To make the card complete, this picture was positioned on a green background, as were also 2 golden shapes (long rectangles), filled in orange/yellow with a transparency effect high on both ends.
To finish up,  a 'little bit' of PSP and Super BladePro was needed, to add the golden text with the season wishes at boths sides. (love the golden effect and unfortunately, THAT is the only thing Picture It is missing here)

This card made a lot of friends and family very happy for they all loved the little girl - so it was a very personal card.
And editing your photo work like this is simply a very enjoyable thing to do
if, with Picture It !
